How I change the volume.

When it comes to maximizing work efficiency, the little things really do make a difference. I've found that saving even a few seconds with simple tasks like changing a computer's volume can keep your work process running smooth with fewer interruptions.

In this video, I'll show you how to set up your trackpad to make quick volume changes using gestures. This tweak — small as it may be — has definitely enhanced my worklife, and is a great addition to anyone's workflow arsenal.

Hey, what's up I'm gonna show you a shortcut to use three fingers to turn the volume up and down on the trackpad. I'll show you how it works. Essentially when you do 3 fingers up it goes up and three fingers down it goes down. This is a really quick shortcut for me. I'll show you how to set it up with better touch tool. The first step is to go to trackpad settings and go to more gestures and make sure that Mission Control an app exposé or deselected. I don't really use these anyway because he use Alfred so much so you can change it to something else if you want. The next step is to open up BetterTouchTool. Click on all apps. Go to trackpad. And I'm going to do a + I'm going to search for three finger swipe up, and then I'm going to assign first action to select a trigger. In search for volume up. And then I'll go ahead and do the volume down. I'll do a + here in the main column. I'll search for three finger swipe down. Assign action to select a trigger. Search for volume down and then whenever I'm finished, I'll go to the better Touch tool menu and restart BetterTouchTool so once better touch tools we started, I'll test it out hands modeling. So three fingers up, just turn the volume up and then three fingers down. Just turn the volume down. I think I might need some lotion. It's cold, but anyway, pretty cool, huh? Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for watching.
