Hey what's up? For today's Luke Likes I'm going to show you a little desk tour - all the equipment that I use, and explain why I have it, and why I use it, and how it's a part of my workflow. So first up, we have a little brush, so if the keyboard gets dusty I can brush it off. That's kind of OCD, but, next up, we have the stop + start [remote] for my camera. So while I'm recording, if you're recording, you can stop and start the camera without having get up. The reason why I have a mirror behind the camera is so I can see whether it's still recording or not. Sometimes it stops. Next up, my laptop here, and then I have a trackpad right below. It's really easier for me to just quickly access this trackpad here, rather than have to lift my hand up. But if you don't have a trackpad you can just use the trackpad there, and position your laptop there. Next up, I have my keyboard, and it's a wireless full-size keyboard from Apple. The reason being, it has the full size command keys [modifier keys], because you know how I love my keyboard shortcuts, and if has extra F keys here. Next I have a mouse that I don't use too much, because I hate using the mouse. But the reason why I have it is whenever you're positioning certain things, like guides or scaling items in Photoshop, Sketch or Figma, to be really precise, it's really hard to get it really precise. With the Wacom tablet, it'll always kind of waver between the 0.5 or 0.1 pixels. Next up, I have my toothbrush holder that I use to hold my Wacom stylus whenever it's not in use. I have my Wacom tablet, I really prefer the Wacom tablet because it's a much faster way to navigate. *I'm a Hand Model* [laughs]. It's much faster to navigate. So for example, if I want to go to the top left, and click here, all I have to do is just move my hand, boom, here, and it's automatically where I need to go. If I had to use the mouse, I'll reposition the mouse here, I'd have to manually push the mouse all he way up there. I can't really like, jump, to the screen. I can't do this, I have to push... it to get there. Another thing that I usually have is a cutting board. I don't do much cutting on it, but I spill a lot, and so when I put things on here I don't ruin my desk. And then the last couple items, I have a little box here from HausWitch [inaudible] that I keep my mouse in, and my AirPods in. I have my little Frizzy photo [painting]. I have my book, I have my puzzle box. I'll send this as well, it's, this is an actual puzzle and a gradient. And then I have my Dell monitor. META! The reason why I have all these peripheral devices is that at any time, I can easily track up and down, I can access anything on my monitor really quickly, and then if I need to, I can do a single click, or precisely move something with my mouse. So I'll include links for everything on my links section of the productivity shop website [http://theproductivityshop.co/links/] and in the description box, but yeah, thanks for watching! Random video! Later!
